South West Peninsula Health Authority

A merger of the three health authorities serving Devon and Cornwall to establish a new organisation, now known as the South West Peninsula Health Authority, created the need for a central headquarters.

A site was identified at Saltash, Cornwall, and Terrapin brought on as the main contractor. We were required to supply an L-shaped, single storey, pitched roof building specifically designed for the purpose.

The building provides a total floor area of 630 sq m, partitioned into three large open plan areas which feed off to individual offices and support rooms. The project also includes car parking and external works.
