It is on-site that the key deliverables and advantages of Terrapin’s Methods of Modern Construction (MMC) expertise - speed, quality, performance, waste management and predictability - become apparent.

Our multi-skilled site teams are a key factor in the rapid and efficient management of all Terrapin projects, especially in handling and installing pre-finished elements to exacting tolerances. Accuracy of foundations and services ensure smooth integration with pre-engineered components for precise and rapid assembly and erection. Careful planning optimises the utilisation and cost of craneage, access and delivery. This means that vehicle movements and deliveries to site are minimised, as is waste removal from site.

Minimal Disruption

It is a feature of our sites that we cause minimum disturbance both to the locality and to the existing infrastructure. This is often of great value to our clients on restricted sites, or where disturbance to existing occupants is a key consideration (such as in hospitals or where sites are close to residential developments).

Training & Supervision

Wherever practical, we use our own trained labour force for our element of the sitework. However, where we are obliged to use local sub-contract labour, we will ensure that our own supervisors are on-site to advise and assure all work is completed to Terrapin's highest standards.
