Off site construction is widely recognised for allowing modern Quality Assurance (QA) production techniques in the prefabrication of essential building modules. At Terrapin we are taking QA to new heights. We have achieved Quality Assurance standard ISO 9001:2008 and we were the first to be accredited under the Buildoffsite Registration Scheme operated by the Lloyd’s Register Group. The scheme sets standards for best practice across all aspects of the off site process, from the submission of tenders through the awarding of contracts to the specification, design, manufacture, construction, handover and even the ongoing maintenance of a completed building. We also hold ISO 14001:2004 for our high standards of environmental performance.
