Priory School
A brick clad, pitched roof, L-shaped building recently completed for the Priory School in Dorking, Surrey, is a good example of Terrapin’s Modern Methods of Construction.
Working with DHP (Property Consultants), we completed the 7 classroom structure with a floor area of 576 sq m within a programme of just 21 weeks. By using fast track off site construction technologies, Terrapin reduced completion on site to a minimum, creating significantly less disruption to the immediate neighbourhood.
The Priory School is a Voluntary-aided Church of England mixed comprehensive school providing a learning environment which is personal, friendly, supportive and disciplined.
Terrapin won the contract in competitive tender, and then worked closely with the Governors and Consultants to ensure the building would totally encompass the school’s immediate and longer term requirements.
