Patchwork Montessori Nursery

Terrapin won the contract to design and construct a 30 place day nursery for the Patchwork Montessori Day Nurseries because of our ability to guarantee completion in time for the Autumn term.

The building was created using Terrapin’s panel based construction technology with an attractive pitched roof design. It provides two baby rooms, an open plan play and learning area, quiet room, kitchen, office, stores and toilets, in a total floor area of 171 sq m. It is sited adjacent to the Lowbrook County Primary School, Cox Green, Maidenhead.

The Patchwork company comprises a number of schools in and around Maidenhead and the new nursery is to cater for the requirements of three major companies. As contracts were signed with these companies, parents, staff and the school prior to the opening on 1st September, Terrapin's ability to achieve handover by that date was a major factor in winning the contract.
